The Project – BHP Western Ridge Located 20 km south-west of Newman, Western Ridge is a critical development connecting NJV Hub operations with the Silver Knight and Mt Helen ore bodies. You will oversee electrical delivery across multiple high‑value scopes, including: CV4106 – Conveyor feeding COS SUB4105 – Substation & transformer yard TS4105 – Transfer station CV4105 – Overland conveyor & take‑up winch NPI works, primary crusher installation & OHP4 upgrades This is complex, multidisciplinary work requiring senior judgement, disciplined planning, and robust operational leadership. The Opportunity As a Senior Electrical Supervisor (S26) , you will be responsible for leading electrical teams across several critical work fronts while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance in line with BHP/WAIO requirements. You will play a central role in: Setting execution standards across electrical teams Managing high‑risk activities and technical escalations Coordinating with engineering, construction and commissioning teams Ensuring disciplined QA/QC, documentation and statutory compliance Driving performance, accountability and workforce capability Providing strategic input into planning, methodology and sequencing This role is suited to supervisors who don’t just “run crews” - but who lead with intent and influence broader project outcomes. Roster: 2:1 from major Australian capital cities Location: Western Ridge, Newman What You’ll Bring We’re seeking supervisors with the capability and confidence to lead at a senior level. You will have: WA Electrical Licence Section 26 certification (completed or booked) Extensive supervisory experience on large-scale mining or industrial projects Strong technical competency across HV/LV installations, instrumentation & commissioning Deep working knowledge of AS/NZS Standards, WHS legislation, and BHP/WAIO protocols Mandatory tickets: CPR/LVR, First Aid, WAH, Confined Space, Gas Test Highly regarded: BHP/FMG Inductions, WAIO Electrical Supervisors Statutory Responsibilities (ITM863061) A leadership style built on accountability, clarity, communication and safety-first thinking Why This Role?
